Women in Science Video Series
Driven by the shared goal of showcasing the diverse pathways of women in science within Luxembourg and inspiring young girls to follow their scientific passions, the institutions comprising Research Luxembourg have united for the video series “Women & Girls in Science”, in collaboration with MEGA, the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity. The video series has already had 3 seasons.
Choosing the path of science and research can have many trajectories. To give a glimpse of what different scientific journeys can look like, each season features 6 women representing different institutions, scientific focuses, backgrounds, and roles. Whether they are a PhD candidate, research scientists, a research funder or a professor, the narratives shared in this third season encapsulate the diverse array of career opportunities available in the field of science and research in Luxembourg.
Diversity Awards 2023
In 2023, the Women & Girls in Science video series has been nominated for the Diversity Awards Lëtzebuerg, in the category “Communication and Values of the Organisation”.
Each year, the Diversity Awards organised by IMS Luxembourg, reward the best practices in terms of diversity management within organisations in Luxembourg, and highlight the growing commitment of private, public and associative organisations in this field.
