In addition to the Research Luxembourg pavilion, a conference will be held to present Luxembourg’s research landscape. Two researchers will also be present to share their research journey in Luxembourg:

Post-Doctoral Fellow : Gut microbiome and mucosal immunology
> Field: Nutrition, Microbiome & Immunity
> 2-year fixed-term contract
> Profile:
- PhD degree in microbiology, immunology, or molecular biology with a strong interest in mucosal immunology
- High level of motivation for research, attention to detail, independent critical thinking, and writing skills
- Desired skills include experience with flow cytometry, models, cell culture, immunologic assays.
Post-Doctoral Fellow in Chronic Inflammation and Respiratory Disease
> Field: Molecular & Translational Allergology
> 2-year fixed-term contract
> Profile:
- PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, or related field (ideally completed within the last 3 years);
- Experience with cell culture, immunoassays and multicolor flow cytometry;
- Strong background and publication record in respiratory disease, allergy and/or human immunology (at least one first-author original publication in recognized international journal(s));
- Desired skills: experience with analyzing multidimensional immune data.
Post-Doctoral Fellow in Experimental Systems Immunology
> Field: Translational & Clinical Immunology
> 2-year fixed-term contract
> Profile:
- Successful PhD (ideally PhD awarded within 2 years; or expect to complete before Jan, 2025) in the area of immunology or molecular or cellular biology;
- Expected to have: hands-on experimental experience in cytometry analysis including cytometry data analysis;
- Expected to have: laboratory experience in immune cell isolation, culture, differentiation and related molecular and cellular experiments;
- Expected to have: hands-on mice handling experience;
- Professional English level; fluent German or French or Dutch as a plus.
Clinical Research Project Manager
> Field: Clinical Research Project Management
> 2-year fixed-term contract
> Profile:
- Master’s degree in the field of Life Sciences or equivalent. PhD is preferred ;
- At least 1 year experience in project management in clinical research or Laboratory / Biobanking;
- Independent and multidisciplinary team working abilities, meticulous, attention to detail and clarity in communication, accuracy, motivated, creative and scientifically innovative;
- Ability to interact positively with advisors and regulatory authorities as well as key stakeholders;
- Language skills: Fluent in English. Any other commonly spoken language in Luxembourg such as French, German, or Luxembourgish would be an asset.

Researcher – Development of Nano-Analytical Techniques Based on Charged Particle Beams

- PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Sciences, or a related field of Engineering Sciences
- Expertise in ion-matter interactions for analytical purposes and/or for nano-fabrication purposes, including e.g. sputtering processes, fragmentation processes and ionization mechanisms
- Notions of photon-atom and photon-ion interactions, e.g. in the context of ionization processes
